What Is Whiplash?
Whiplash
Whiplash — medically known as Cervical Acceleration Deceleration Syndrome — is a well-documented neck injury caused by sudden, forceful movement that pushes the head and neck beyond their normal range of motion. Studies show collisions as slow as 3.4 mph can cause it.
Common Causes
The most common cause is an auto accident, but work injuries, falls, and contact sports can also cause whiplash.
Symptoms to Watch For
Headaches, dizziness, shoulder or back pain, burning or prickling sensations, and difficulty chewing or swallowing. Even if you received ER care, you may still benefit from our evaluation.
Our Approach
A thorough exam — with X-rays if needed — determines the scope of your injury before we build a treatment plan to relieve pain and restore normal function as quickly as possible.

Don't Wait to Treat Your Whiplash
Delays in treatment are one of the top reasons insurance companies deny or reduce accident claims. Same-day appointments available.
